BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Helping institutions consider how to leverage artificial intelligence across the enterprise. Affordably.

About

I'm Stephanie.

I'm the Benevolent AI Facilitator.

I work alongside CIOs/CTOs/CAIOs to help universities and colleges plan for, socialize, implement and measure the AI adoption strategies they need beyond teaching and learning.

ABOUT

Concrete Wall

Trained in strategic global brand and business development at the NBA, I  joined Yale University in 2006 as head of marketing. In my first year, I  secured presidential and board investment to introduce video capture and dissemination as an enterprise-wide strategy to increase Yale’s global impact and reach at a time when online video was in its infancy.

Since then, in various roles at the university and graduate school level, I have lead the adoption, implementation, and socialization of multiple brand and website redesigns as well as the introduction of new technologies and re-imagined digital media strategies.

A customer-centric change agent known for diplomacy and strategic planning skills, I serve as a non-technical AI facilitator to help presidents, provosts and other university leaders to consider, plan and navigate an AI path to adoption, implementation, optimization and growth.

My team of AI practitioners and professionals (with expertise in everything from privacy to strategic content development) complements your in-house expertise of CIOs, CTOs, and CAIOs.

I cherish working at the unique intersection of faculty, students, alumni and staff, and am deeply committed to serving the increasingly critical role of IHEs on the world stage.

To optimize their impact, they will need to adopt AI intentionally, across all functions of the enterprise. I aspire to use my experience to help them do so successfully.

Why Us

Why

AFFORDABILITY

Many universities and colleges lack the budget for such services.

We offer affordable services particularly useful to those just beginning on the AI path, who lack staff with the AI knowledge and need help to consider how best to approach it across the organization or department.

Choose

FLEXIBILITY

We have no minimum engagement requirement, and no minimum spend.

Whether you’re looking for a one-time brainstorm because you’re unsure what you need, seeking a short-term partner to help do a needs analysis for your institution, or already have a vision for an action plan but need a benevolent facilitator who understands how to introduce disruptive tech into a university,   we create a custom arrangement to meet your needs.

Us

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY

Introducing new technology anywhere is a challenge; doing so requires diplomacy and sensitivity.

What does that mean? Considering the change through the viewpoint of your stakeholder- whether that is a student, a faculty member, an alumnus, a staff member or an external partner.

We specialize in socializing enterprise-level change before implementation, achieving maximum support and minimum friction throughout the process, from ideation to implementation.

WHAT WE DO

As your Benevolent AI Facilitator, we work alongside your CIO/CTO/CAIO.

We:

  • Wake up thinking about how AI can help or hurt you

  • Get as involved as is needed, working with a single administrator or unit, or collaborating with the President, Provost, COO or other cabinet member(s) to map out a course of action for the enterprise

  • Work with your team to prepare and/or implement a well-considered plan that considers stakeholder needs, goals, concerns, and pain points

  • Ask questions you don't consider, manage the process and do the legwork

you don't have the time or staff for.

We do all this with particular attention to the complexity and risk tolerance of each organization, to set you up for success at a pace and cadence that works for you.
